ANDERSON, Jessie Clara (nee Goosney) Birchy Head
April 3rd, 1929 - Oct. 22nd, 2002 It is with great
sadness that the family of the late Jessie Clara Anderson announce her
passing on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2002 at the Western Memorial Regional
Hospital in her 73rd year. She will be sadly missed by her loving
husband Russell, four daughters: Joyce (Henry Young) of Birchy Head,
Phyllis (Oral) Clarke of Deer Lake, Edith (Roy) Pittman of Birchy Head,
Louise (Eddie Samms) of Brampton, Ontario; two sons: Willie (Judy) and
Glen (Melissa), both of Shoal Brook; fourteen grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren. Four sisters: Thelma (Hubert) Caines of Birchy
Head, Mrs. Una Burden of Shoal Brook, Mrs. Beulah Parsons of Birchy Head
and Lorraine (Fred) Parsons of Glenburnie. Two sisters-in-law Dorcas
Goosney and Rosie Goosney, both of Birchy Head, one brother-in-law Alex
Hiscock of Corner Brook. Also a large circle of relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her three sons: Hayward, Oscar and George. Two
brothers Garland and Robert, her grandson Timmy and her parents James
and Edith Goosney. Visitation will take place from the United Church in
Birchy Head today Thursday, where also funeral services will take place
on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ray Clouter officiating. Interment to
follow at the family plot. By request of the family donations may be
made to the Palliative Care unit at the Western Memorial Regional
Hospital. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home,
63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake. "Forever In Our Hearts"
